Amazing things are happening in East Africa

At AEE, we have been blessed to witness and be part of foundational changes that are positively altering the Christian education landscape in Uganda and Kenya.

In Kenya, we are celebrating the formal acceptance of the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) curriculum by the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development. This marks a significant milestone for Christian education in Kenya and across Africa. We are also currently engaging with our in-country representatives in Kenya regarding the establishment of the necessary local administration and management structures to ensure excellence in oversight, distribution and support of the A.C.E. curriculum for both schools and homeschools.

At the same time, we remain deeply thankful to God and encouraged by the continued growth of A.C.E. in Uganda. The partnership between AEE and Uganda Christian University (UCU) continues to bear significant fruit. We are particularly excited by the accreditation of the UCU Postgraduate Diploma in A.C.E. for schoolteachers. According to UCU, the first cohort of students is expected to enrol at the beginning of the 2026 academic year in September 2026.

We give thanks to God for these breakthroughs and for the continued advancement of Christian education across Africa.
