Cornerstone Institute is bringing back its highly anticipated KZN Regional Connect, a three-day initiative designed to empower community members, including local high schools, with tools and information, while fostering a sense of community amongst Cornerstone students in KwaZulu-Natal.
“We strongly feel that when studying online, relationships and CONNECTION are essential components for bolstering support and making the student experience more meaningful. Hence, our reason for offering these opportunities to our students.” ~ Jacqui Nzuwa (Cornerstone Institute Student Development Coordinator)
The programme includes:
● June 26: Visit local schools & industry partners. We offer resources on time management, financial aid, career guidance, and study skills.
● June 27, 10:30 AM: Meet us at the local LaLucia Library.
● June 27, 3:00–6:00 PM: The official KZN Regional Connect at Gatvol Coffee (Beside Still Waters Boutique Hotel), offering networking with the Student Development & Support team, current students, and personalised admissions guidance.
Prospective students will discover Cornerstone's unique blend of distance-mode offering, online flexibility, and personalised support, which ensures education is accessible without sacrificing community.
Last year's event left a lasting impression on many attendees. Ronda Meyer shared her experience.
"I really enjoyed attending the KZN Regional Connect in Durban last year, it was such a great opportunity to finally put faces to names! Being able to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with fellow colleagues made me feel supported and reminded me that we're part of a strong, caring community here in KZN. It truly made me feel part of something special at Cornerstone." ~ Ronda Meyer (2024 attendee)
