Loreto Convent School is an Independent Catholic school, established in 1878, and located in the CBD of Pretoria. We are very proud to be one of the oldest schools in the city. We cater for Pre-Primary (Grade RRR to Grade R), Primary School (Grade 1 to Grade 7) and High School (Grade 8 to Grade 12) learners. Our school admits boys and girls from Grade RRR to Grade 4, and admits girls only from Grade 5 to Grade 12.
Loreto Convent School places a strong focus on the education of girls and young women, as we believe that South Africa is in need of strong and well-educated women in leadership now more than ever, who can become an influence for change and upliftment in whatever sector they choose to contribute towards. Discipline and moral ethics remain one of the hallmarks of our Catholic school tradition and we place great emphasis on producing learners who are able to achieve whatever goals they may envision for themselves later in life, because they are able to work hard, remain disciplined and focus on outcomes they wish to realise.
