At Shanan Christian School, learners are nurtured from Preschool
through to Grade 12 in a Christ-centered environment that prioritizes
both academic excellence and character development. The preschool
programme lays a solid foundation through the ‘Little Lights’ Curriculum,
fostering curiosity, faith and early learning skills. In Grade R and 1, we
build strong literacy and numeracy foundations in small, supportive
classes. From Grade 2 onward, learners progress through the ACE
mastery-based system, setting daily goals and advancing at their own
pace. Personalized support aids in developing independence, discipline
and confidence. A diverse range of subjects enriches the learning
experience and helps learners discover their strengths. By Grade 12,
learners work towards graduation with an internationally recognized
Lighthouse Christian Academy [LCA] Diploma, accredited by the South
African Qualification Authority [SAQA], equipping them for further study
and life beyond school.
