Finding a place to stay in the Mother City can be a daunting task, and finding the perfect place at an affordable price seems impossible. Student at Home accommodates students in their new home away from home, perfectly bridging the gap between home and the big wide world.

We pride ourselves on three specific things, security, location and comfort.

Our Location could not be more central. Adderley Street is the most famous street in Cape Town. It is near all main public transport terminals, shopping malls and universities and colleges. Comfort is important and we pride ourselves on a level of comfort to suit all the students’ needs.

From Single Rooms or even sharing a space, our apartments are fully stocked with all mod-cons. Ideally situated at Adderley Street, easily accessible and within working distance of all major Cape Town attractions and student hotspots. Each room is fitted with a pre-paid electricity meter. Only the lights and plugs are charged on the meter, water and the geyser are for our account.

The building has a 24-hour security company on site which means both entrances to the building and doing perimeter checks. Each floor is equipped with cameras. Plus a biometric fingerprint system, so that only tenants are granted access with their fingerprint. We have very strict house rules, please see the attachment.

We see our accommodation as a bridging gap between being at home and the big wide world. 

Our apartments are fully stocked with all mod-cons, perfect for student living. This includes a bed, desk, cupboard, TV and self-catering kitchen. All apartments have their own standard bathroom with a shower. We have services that include uncapped High-Speed Wi-Fi and selected DSTV channels.

As an extra service, we provide linen, but at an extra cost of R450. We have a laundry facility with four industrial washers and dryers. These are coin-operated machines. Each room is fitted with a pre-paid electricity meter. Only the lights and plugs are charged on the meter, water and the geyser are for our account.
